HEY MAN! i'm back from japan, for like 2 weeks alr =x
And I better start blogging before mingzhong scolds me again through phone and wanqian on my tagboard =x


Japan was GREAT but not great. lol. i shall talk about it while posting the photos.


T3! =) there are some cool shops over there, and I forgot this shop tt I wanted to talk abt. it’s some soccer related shop la. Lol.

On plane! I duno y I always tio the view with the wing blocking me 1 leh. Is it tt all economy seats are near the wing so tt business and first class seatings get clear view? LOL.

HAHAHAHAHA WTH LA! We made like so much noise in the plane. Damn hard to control laughter. My dajie was saying the plane v quiet, duno if it’s bcoz there’re a lot of Japanese and they’re v cultured, or tt it’s SQ, coz according to her, budget airline damn noisy 1 la. Maybe coz lower class ppl la. LOL.



1st destination, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!

Super trademark please. Lol. And it’s quite hard to capture this picture coz the globe is rotating!

The ambience there is damn cool. It’s like very happy, fun, and blockbuster-y. the music’s like everywhere!

As my mum’s a technology idiot, she doesn’t noe the basic camera function of press-a-little-for-focus-and-press-harder-to-capture and the zoom function. So when taking photos, she’ll go “eh hen xiao leh”. So since she doesn’t noe how to use zoom, u gotta ask her to come closer to u right? So tt explains the photo below….

With my dajie saying “deng yi xia!”, and me “guo lai!”.

A pity we didn’t take any of the rides and watch anything at universal studios. Coz the waiting times were like 1 to 2 hours long, and we couldn’t afford to queue coz we’re on a tour, gotta follow the scheduled time very closely =(

This cap is really cute ok? So my dajie asked me to buy since I like it and look quite ok which it, and I went “I’m not gonna wear a HELLO KITTY cap in Singapore ok??”.

I’m trying to imitate the elmo la! Lol. It’s a hp accessory, and u can control it’s mouth. It’s damn cute. I should have bought it, and not kept on thinking tt I wont need it.

This is a café tt’s all pink! So cute la. I’m not a pink person ok? Lol. Really.

I love these baby characters. Remember years back, there’s this elmo toy which will laugh when u tickle it? i have the baby big bird version! Lol. The adult big bird is not cute. =x

Another destination is a little volcano that’s dead alr. So it’s like dented in at the peak of it. So we go up by a skyride, den walk around the hollow part, den go down by skyride again. It’s ultra windy and cold up there!!

Sentosa no kick loh. Haha.

It’s a pretty weird an dulu place to have a golf course there la! And oh god, when I see golf course, I cant help thinking abt Marketing and Club,Resort,Spa. HAHA. Argh. school. -_-“

There’re ppl practicing archery at the hollow part. Good use of land ah? Coz there should be wind in there to obstruct their activity.

It’s this cold (look at my mum’s expression)

And this windy! We seriously felt that we’re going to be blown away and fall off the volcano and die. LOL. So my mum and I gotta hold on to each other. LOL.
The place is quite high up, and bcoz of the altitude, my ear hurts like mad. And your mucus is uncontrollable, really uncontrollable leh. =x



I took the shinkansen!
Dear htm students, u should know what shinkansen is if not pls go retake ur ttb. Lol.
It’s the bullet train!


Yea, my sis likes to take photo with tickets.


When this train stops at the platform, I went “eh kuai dian kuai dian!” instructing her to stand there so tt I can take a photo of her with the stationary train, den after tt, she went “eh kuai dian kuai dian!!!” hahaha! Coz the transportation in Japan dun wait for u 1 loh. They wanna leave at the designated time, they really leave!

Damn cool right? Like plane la! Haha.
The bullet train is really quite fast leh. According to my tour guide, it travels at about 270km/h, and tt’s 1/3 of the speed of a plane ok? When u’re onboard the train and when another train passes u in the opposite direction, the impact is so strong tt u’ll be pushed to the side la. And it’s damn scary when we’re still on the platform and a train passed us at its fastest speed u, coz it’s not stopping at the station. My dajie and I went “OMGOMGOMG?!!”



Another destination is a waterfall-cum-wasabi place.

Lunch! Looks quite good and authentic ah? Not v nice actually. =x


There’s people fishing with bamboo rods with fishing lines. So traditional and cool la.

I thought it was water lilies or some lotus plant. They’re wasabi leaves! And real wasabi is not green in colour ok? It’s white with little bright green spots.



This is one of the nicer breakfast we had in the hotels. Oh, we change hotel every day. How irritating.

Sofa seats, CLEAN sofa seats, not like café c _ _ t _ _ in Singapore. Yea u got it. =x

Forgot to mention, soup is me and my dajie’s comfort food there seriously. The weather’s so cold. I have miso soup for like 70% of my meals. I’m feel quite sick when I see miso soup back in Singapore now.



Here’s one of the I-DUN-WANNA-BE-HERE destination.

Tickets to the templeeeee. Argh. I think the ticket look like sth… lol.

HAHAHAHAHHA! Ya it looks like the amulet where u paste on the foreheads of zombies to stop them to moving! Lol. I noe it’s pretty rude, coz the ticket is really like a amulet. U can fold it in some way den keep it with u, in ur wallet or sth. But den the tour guide teach like super fast, so I dun bother anyway. I made my dajie pose in this pic. Lol.

Go there, and see this gold building. Boring. I went “dun bluff la, where got totally made from gold loh. It’s gold paint”. like so fake la. And my dajie, u cant blame her for being in the jewelry industry. She went “I think it’s just gold plated loh”. HAHA. The 2 of us kept criticizing la. LOL.

Ahh.. my favourite. Always see this in ou xiang ju. Lol.




On one of the nights, my dajie and I went to walk around the hotel coz the tour always end after dinner, so boring la! Still so early. Went to buy aspirin for my mum, she’s like sick for almost the whole tour la!

McPork! Cool ah? I wanted to try but I was too full. It’s quite funny if it’s in Singapore. Like super insulting to the muslims. They have McFlurry with oreo and caramel, too cold to dare to try it. Haha.
Oh, and we walked passed their cinema. And they’re showing golden compass and enchanted. I watched enchanted like last year can? Haha.

Quite scary ah. I only see “in case of fire, do not use lift” in Singapore.

I have a lot to say about their toilet bowls!
They have this wash butt function. Haha. U can control the pressure of the water tt washes ur arse. Lol. There’s one that washes ur shit hole, and one tt washes girls’ pee hole. I tried once at the hotel’s toilet, and it’s super ticklish la! Hahahaha! My sis tried and she said it isn’t. =(
Oh, and it can be rotating if u choose the function, so tt it’s clean an area, not a spot. Lol.
There’s this flushing sound function u can press, so u can hide the sound of ur shit dropping into the toilet bowl or the sound of ur fart. LOL. But the flushing sound quite fake la. HAHA.
There’s this powerful deodorizer that sucks the foul smell. HAHA.
Our favourite is that the toilet seats are heated, so it’s really comforting when u sit on it on such cold climate. Most toilets have these functions, so when we went to one tt doesn’t not have it, we jumped out of our seat coz it’s damn cold and we didn’t expect it! Haha.
It’s so amusing. HAHA. Love the toilet bowls.

We couldn’t enter the temple coz the admission tickets are not included in the tour price. SO STUPID RIGHT. Walao eh.

It’s a kimono making place. When we reached there, there were models wearing kimonos modeling on a small runway with kimono. We got bored after the 3rd or 4th model so we went up to walk around the retail section.

Everybody wearing silk, u’re wearing a material tt comes out from this disgusting creature. It’s alive, for goodness sake. It looks damn fake and ugly and argh!

But ok la. This temple look quite pretty, and it’s a love temple. Haha. Like u pray for love and all. Lol.

Gotta walk pass this v nice street, and we bought ice cream! I told my sis she looked like a freak bcoz she’s wearing sleeveless, and the weather there is cold. But the street is quite hot la. Tt explains the ice cream!
Oh ya, the ice cream right, it has this cinnamon flavoured stick tt acts as a spoon, and it’s edible. Environmentally friendly sia.

We damn act loh, actually this place only got like 10 trees with sakura. It’s supposed to be a place filled with cherry blossom trees la. But almost all still bare. Wrong timing of the year la. We act like got a lot, coz the whole background is filled with cherry blossoms. LOL.



MOUNT FUJI!
I saw it on coach, it’s damn pretty! But we only managed to go up 1/10 of mount fuji the next day coz it was too foggy and it was drizzling, so for safety reasons we cant go up. But we saw snow, but they were alr on the floor, and scraped to the sides for the vehicles to move on the road. Lol. But it’s still snow ok? LOL.
It’s seriously like ice kachang, and u noe what, joanne and Bernice? I thought of the 2 of u la! I feel like pouring syrup onto the pile of ice and eat the whole MEGA ice kachang with the 2 of u! =D


HAHAHAHA..see damn act again. What u dun see is the road and the dirty parts of the snow.


Lol. I’m trying to show u all the ‘smoke’ from my breathe la. Lol. Really can see. See carefully =x it’s damn fun. I kept playing with it, wherever it is cold enough in japan. Lol.

Look how foggy it is. I told my dajie it looked like jolin’s tian kong mtv. LOL. Den the 2 of us kept repeating the 1st line of the chorus. Lol. Mad.

This is a shopping area called VenusFort. It rocks seriously. The stuff there are damn exquisite and pretty. There’s an Abercrombie and fitch outlet.

The ferris wheel outside the shopping area. Oh, japan has a lot of ferris wheel. So pretty and romantic la!

Dinner at this Italian buffet restaurant over there. Meaning the fondue I’m holding is free flow can? Omgomg.

Crepes! There are a lot of crepes stall there! There’re flavours like salmon sashimi and cheesecake there. Too bad this stall I patronize only has the common fruit and ice cream flavours.

Mum was sick so she stayed in the hotel the whole day. So poor thing. =(

Took train. I shall talk abt the trains later. It’s MADNESS OK? OMFG.

The flowers there really v pretty la!

Lunch at a ramen place. The funny thing is, both of us felt that ajisen’s nicer =x oh anyway, the Japanese love their eggs man. Every hotels’ buffet breakfast confirm got egg omelette, scramble egg and hard boiled egg. I ordered a additional egg for my ramen, and it’s good man. The whites are totally cooked, but the yolk is semi cooked. Woah.. oishii!!

We walked 2 mrt stations while we were randomly walking. My sis was complaining tt she didn’t see the scene we saw on tv, where a lot of ppl cross the road altogether. Lol. And we reached this place, Shibuya, and there, really A LOT OF PPL CROSSING THE ROAD! Haha. The cross junction is so big, and vehicles from all 4 directions stop for the pedestrians to cross can? So some ppl just walk diagonally since there’re no cars!

The red seats are priority seats, meaning those that should be given up for the elderly, pregnant ladies and children. And above the seats are signs that says pls refrain from using cell phones when near the seats. And opposite me was a Japanese girl sitting on the seats and using her hp. Haha!

The train was empty after the previous stop before our destination, coz we were going to the airport to take a shuttle bus back to hotel. Like who the hell goes to the airport at 11pm? Haha. Cool ah? It’s so jap movies and drama. Haha. Deathnote =x

The trains there are madness ok? I have sooooo much to say.
Let me first show u the map of the train system.

This is only the subway ok?
In Singapore, we only have 2 train companies, SBS Transit and SMRT. They have like 10 over companies, so they have a lot of lines. Their trains are damn punctual. If it’s a 9.07am train, the train REALLY reaches the platform at 9.07am. so when u buy tickets for ur train, u gotta buy a specific timing. It’s not like ezlink, u stay inside for how long, take which train also nvm. So in japan, u miss ur train, means u REALLY miss ur train and good luck. And it’s not in Singapore, u can alight, go opposite and take the train and u’ll go back to where u came from. In japan, 1 track can have a few train companies 1 loh. And their 1 track can have trains coming from 2 directions. Like 1 moment u see this train moving from ur left to right, the next train tt comes can come from ur right den go left. Like HUH?!?! Lol.

Right, when we’re going back, the trains got delayed. We tried to ask the stewardess (ya their trains have 1st class and economy class, so the stewardess serve the 1st class ppl) at the platform. The first stewardess we asked gave us the right instruction, that our train will be on platform 3. after tt, bcoz of the delay, we got a bit scared. So we asked another stewardess. She told us our train will arrive at platform 4. we got really kanjiong. Den when it’s near 8.12pm, which is the timing of our train, we kanjiong like fuck liao. Den got this train on platform 3, so we asked her again, she told us to quickly board the train. Fuck, kanjiong, just board. Den we got onto the train, asked the stewardess inside, she told us the train doesn’t go to our destination. AH FUCK.

The previous day, we took cab from Disneyland to a nearby hospital for my mum to see the doc. A 5min ride cost about $15. I can take cab to orchard from my house with $15 ok? Omg. Imagine a 2 hour train ride back to our hotel. I think our cab fare will be $200+ loh. My sis’s friend ever took cab in jap and it costs her $300. now u feel kanjiong for us if we missed our train?
Luckily there’s this very helpful Japanese man who spoke very good English tt helped us. He’s really ultra helpful. The ppl there, walao, English damn chui. Like excuse me Tokyo, you’re the capital of japan leh. OMFG. Zz.

The cars there are like woo! It’s Subaru, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Nissan everywhere ok? It’s weird to see a person driving a BMW or Renault there. Haha. And the Japanese cars there have feminine colours like pink. Pretty!

My mum went to see a doctor, and their instruction for medicine damn cool can? They’ll print a piece of paper for u, with the photos of the medicine, and the timing to eat them, how to eat them, how long they’ll last and all. Although the instructions are in jap, but it’s like so cool la!

Oh, and this toni and guy person approach my dajie and I for a free haircut. Walao, my hair tt chui meh? Ok la, quite chui la, but whatever. den my dajie and I were like ‘he approach u right, not me!’ HAHAHA. We told him we were tourist and we were going back to Singapore the next day, so no time. He walked away, and came back saying “1 hour!”. Haha. Cannot afford the time la. Shopping more impt. =x

My lips and lower half of my leg crack like mad. I hate the dry climate!

Their news is damn cool! Our sports news are like EPL, at most S league. Theirs hoh, woah cool loh, their own baseball, sumo wrestling. Aiya, I can totally feel the loyalty they have for their country man. Their weather forecast news even show u the plates and contours of the earth la. Lol! Ours? Rainy cloudy sunny.

my sis didnt buy any burberry blue label bags home. this season's designs suck, our tour guide said. like what a pity la. burberry blue lable ok?

do i look like a jap? an old lady actually asked me for direction at the subway interchange! she walked away after i said "sorry i dun understand japanese" and realised we dun share a common language. haha.

Yup. Japan, a love-hate country.
